Religion 341. A consideration of the relation between the natural and the sacred in selected traditions such as Amerindian religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Judaeo-Christian tradition, and contemporary "eco-religion." Emphasis upon analysis of latent ecological/environmental resources or conflicts in each tradition studied. Offered 1993-94 and alternate years. (Credit, full course.) Smith.
